If your children are getting excited about all the Easter eggs they hope to receive next weekend, you may be looking for some Easter activities to get them out and about, away from the chocolate or at least exercising in the process of finding it!
Here in Surrey and Hampshire there are lots of organised Easter activities, including egg hunts and Easter trails, that you can join in too. Here are our top picks:
Easter Activities Around Farnborough and North Camp
Aldershot Bunny Hop Competition (3 – 19 April): Children can search the town looking for pictures of Easter eggs hidden in shop windows and uncover the hidden word. Prizes include: Cinema tickets, shopping vouchers, theatre tickets, chocolate, Easter eggs and more.
Children’s Farm (Sat 4 April): Aldershot town centre will host a children’s farm featuring lambs, chicks, goats, rabbits, pigs and ducks. Free entry.
Hop and Roll at Aldershot Military Museum (4 – 19 April): The Hop & Roll Trail is all about bunnies and eggs! Self-led family activity included in admission charge.
Easter Walk at Fleet Pond (10 & 11 April): Join the Hart Countryside Rangers on a self guided walk around Fleet Pond. Meet them in the picnic area to get your Easter pack, then find the clues, answer the questions, return to the picnic area and collect your Easter egg. Suitable for all ages. No need to book, just drop in anytime between 10.00am and 2.00pm. Dogs welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult. £3

Guildford Easter EG Hunt (28 March – 2 April): Grab the clue from the Experience Guildford Facebook page at 11am each day and then race to find the EG box and claim your prize. First 6 receive a goody bag valued at £20.

Surrey Heath Museum has an Easter Egg Trail (1 – 11 April): Just drop in, it’s free and an opportunity to explore the museum.
Camberley’s Easter Wonderland (4 April): An Alice in Wonderland themed Easter event on the High Street. Free!
Easter Trail at Yateley Common (6 April): Follow the trail around Yateley Common and report back to the Ranger for an Easter surprise. Booking essential.

Easter Egg Hunt at Birdworld, Farnham (1 & 15 April): Follow the clues in the hunt around the park, farm and aquarium. When you have completed the trail sheet you will be rewarded with an egg prize! (Whilst stocks last). Craft activities too.
Mega Egg Hunt, Wellington Country Park (5 April): First 1000 children to complete the egg hunt form by finding the giant eggs hidden around the park, win chocolate from the Easter Bunny.
Easter Eggstravaganza at Bocketts Farm (28 March – 12 April): As well as an Easter Trail it’s lambing time on the farm.
Easter Fun at Godstone Farm (28 March – 12 April): More newborn animals to see, including the ever-popular chick hunt.
Easter at Wisley (28 March – 12 April): Lots of horticultural and craft activities over the Easter holidays for little ones including making an Easter bonnet on Easter Sunday and the Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt around the gardens.
Easter Clue Trail at Alice Holt, Farnham (until 19 April): Pick up a clue sheet for £2 from the cafe then follow the clues and find the wooden eggs around the woodland trails.
