Welcome to the first ever blog post from the Naturally Curious Childcare Group! If you’ve visited our website before you’ll notice that as well as a blog we have also had a redesign. This involved many cups of tea, and a few late nights, but we’re delighted with the result.
Our new website really reflects the ethos of our nurseries; fun, caring, personal, yet with a professional approach. If you’ve visited either of our Farnborough Nurseries or the setting in Pirbright, I’m sure you’ll agree what a warm and friendly environment we have created, and I hope this blog will go some way to recreate this “virtually” for all our online visitors.
About Naturally Curious Childcare
Sara and I bought our first nursery in October 2004. Sara had worked as a nursery nurse and always dreamt of running her own day nursery. Fortunately we have been able to make the dream a reality and instead of one she now has three! It’s definitely very much a family business, our children have been through Pirbright and Pear Tree Day Nursery, so we understand what it’s like to be a parent too and all the concerns you may have for your child when choosing a day nursery.
Happy children is what we all strive for in the Naturally Curious Childcare Group, we know that if your child is happy, you will be too. In fact we even offer a Happiness Guarantee, allowing your child unlimited settling in sessions until they are completely happy and secure. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.
So, back to the blog and what we are trying to achieve with it…
Early Years Blog
We know that parents love to find out all the details of their little one’s day when they’re at nursery. So we hope to share some of the highlights in this blog; of course you can still ask your Early Years Professional what they’ve been doing when you collect them at the end of the day!
We are also fortunate that our parents like to get involved in our nurseries as much as they can; whether it’s cheering the children on during sports day, or singing carols at our Christmas concerts. Not everyone can attend these events so the blog will be a place you can look to find out what went on.
We also know that parents are very interested in their children’s development and how we are delivering Early Years provision in our settings. The blog will be a great resource for parents wanting answers to all these questions; and we also plan to share ideas and activities that you can do at home, both fun and educational.
Of course this is only the first post so we’ve got some way to go before our blog is full of all this interesting information! To give us a helping hand we would be very grateful if you could complete this short survey which asks you what you want to read about. Thank you for your time.
You can also leave a comment below, that’s what blogging is all about I’m told! We would love to hear from you so whether you have a question about our nurseries, or want to share your opinion about Childcare and Early Years please use the comments box below. Until next time…
